Editorial Policy

Under the vision of “Changing the Future Landscape Through Eyewear,” JINS is engaged in various missions to change the view of the future beyond the perception of all people into one that is sustainable and better. JINS began publishing the Sustainability Report and Data Book in 2021 in order to communicate our initiatives in an easier to understand manner. We have edited these reports to introduce JINS’ approach to sustainability, its goals, and various initiatives to communicate deeply with our stakeholders, including customers, shareholders, suppliers, local communities, and employees, and to gain a better understanding of our sustainability and corporate stances. The Sustainability Activity Report is organized into six material factors, policies, activity results, etc., are disclosed, and various data are published in the “Data Book,” including past results.

Reporting Scope and Period

In principle, the scope encompasses JINS HOLDINGS Inc. and JINS Inc.
The scope of application is stated separately if different than the above.
“Group” refers to consolidated subsidiaries of the Group.

Generally, the subject period discloses results for the business year from September to August each year.
*In case of differences, the subject period is stated separately.

Publication

In principle, the sustainability website and the Sustainability Data Book are updated around November every year, and the Sustainability Report is published around February every year.
